Last January, Guitarras Madrid Flamenco went to the presentation of Contra las cuerdas Vol. 2, which is the new book of the virtuous journalist Pablo San Nicasio. The event took place in the legendary Casa Patas in Madrid.
The event, which was an absolute success, had several lectures by Antonio Benamargo, Óscar Herrero, the book’s author himself and Romualdo Molina. During the presentation, different and interesting themes were pointed out, as well as the more recent news of flamenco: actuality and probably evolution in the near future.
At the end of the event, a snack-colloquium took place within the participants for one more hour.
Contra las cuerdas Vol.2 is the second collection of interviews to the most famous flamenco guitar players. The interviews are displayed chronologically continuing Contra las cuerdas Vol.1. This new volume offers unpublished contents which see the light for the first time.
Both volumes are either considered essential to any bookcase owned by a flamenco amateur or recommended for all audiences.
